Field Sales Representative / Area Sales Manager (europe-wide) surface technology (m/f/d)

Full-time (38.5 h) | Permanent position | Cologne (HomeOffice)

Do you enjoy bringing customer and product together, preferably across Europe? As a passionate salesperson with the necessary understanding for products in need of explanation from the technical/chemical surface environment, you will inspire your customers from the first contact to the completion of the project. You like to actively manage your own order situation and are always looking for maximum success? Then here is the job profile for you!

Moving on in the OQEMA World

  • The complete, active acquisition and technical support of potential trade partners throughout Europe from the enquiry to the after sales
  • Distribution of our existing product portfolio of surface technology / surface engineering
  • Implementation of defined key performance indicators (KPI), planning and implementation of action plans for market penetration and comprehensive pricing
  • Application-related customer consulting and development of economic and technically optimised solutions with our partners
  • Trend analyses and identification of new innovations with our product development

How to get ready for OQEMA

  • Very good knowledge of English and German, with pleasure further language skills and a high willingness to travel (>60%)
  • High empathy for international business cultures and ideally access to an existing network
  • Completed technical training (studies) and practical experience in the surface technology segment
  • An above-average degree of independent working, negotiating skills, ability to work under pressure and a very high degree of customer and service orientation
