Welcome to OQEMA - We are celebrating our 100th anniversary this year and have set ourselves ambitious goals for the coming years. Our priorities are sustainability and digitalisation with exciting, international projects throughout the company group. Therefore, we are currently looking for support for our internal IT department, which is located at our Mönchengladbach site.

Senior Platform Engineer CI/CD (m/f/d)

Full-time (38,5 h/week)| Permanent | Mönchengladbach, home office possible
 

Your impact within the OQEMA Group

  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to setting up, maintaining and developing continuous build/integration infrastructure
  • Active driver for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery based application development
  • Understanding, learning and applying new automated build, test and deployment capabilities and helping to develop teams towards integrating these solutions
  • Expanding awareness, knowledge and experience on automation within CI/CD pipelines
  • Designing, proposing and facilitating process improvements as needed for supporting automation and DevSecOps
  • Supporting full automation of CI/testing as well as CI/CD tools integration, operations, change management and maintenance
  • Developing policies, standards, guidelines, governance and related guidance for both CI/CD operations and for developers’ work
  • Writing build and deployment scripts

What we are looking for

  • Completed education as IT specialist, IT clerk or comparable qualification
  • Several years of work experience in a comparable role
  • Strong skillset and experience in establishing CI/CD pipelines/GitOps using modern and available tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Mule
  • Very good skills in integrating and operating Static and Dynamic Code Scans for security testing with pipelines
  • Ability to provision, monitor, optimize and scale CI/CD infrastructure using API's
  • Knowledge and/or experience in designing, developing, deploying and CI/CD in a DevOps environment
  • Fluent English skills, German skills would be a plus
