Group Principal Manager Home & Personal Care I&I
Fulltime (38,5 h/week) | Permanent Employment | Cologne
Your impact within the OQEMA Group
  • Align and clearly communicate growth expectations, strategies, budgets and targets between suppliers and OQEMA’s local teams
  • Track and evaluate supplier performance, prepare regular reports and jointly develop growth and improvement plans
  • Manage central tools and communication channels, including pricing structures, logistics setups and campaign coordination
  • Facilitate effective collaboration between commercial, technical and marketing teams on both the supplier and OQEMA sides
  • Organize and execute trainings, webinars, product promotions and review meetings
  • Coordinate technical and logistical processes, including information exchange on MOQs, lead times and samples, as well as integration into the pan-European warehouse concept
  • Support and implement marketing initiatives such as campaigns, events,
  • PR activities and digital content in close collaboration with the OQEMA marketing team
  • Participate in and represent the company at local and international trade fairs and industry exhibitions
  • Coordinate with the legal department to ensure compliant negotiation, execution and administration of distribution agreements
What we are looking for:
  • University degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business
  • Administration or a comparable field
  • Several years of experience in supplier management, category management or procurement, ideally within Home & Personal Care, chemicals or ingredients distribution
  • Strong understanding of raw materials, supplier landscapes and value chains in Home & Personal Care
  • Proven experience in strategic negotiations and contract management
  • Ability to think strategically and act entrepreneurially in a complex, international environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Structured, analytical and results-driven working style
  • Fluent English required; German is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel internationally
