Group Process Owner Global Trade & Compliance (m/f/d)
full time (38,5 h/week) | permanent Employment | Mönchengladbach I Hybrid
Your impact within the OQEMA Group:
- Own and continuously improve our end-to-end Global Trade & Compliance processes – from customs and import/export execution to export control
- Establish group-wide standards and translate legal and regulatory requirements into scalable business processes, with clear Adopt / Adapt / Localise decisions
- Act as the central interface between business functions, Key Users, IT & Digitalisation and external partners – and build a strong Key User community across our European entities
- Drive the SAP S/4HANA and SAP GTS rollout in your domain and define the interfaces to Sales, Procurement, Logistics, Finance and Master Data
- Translate business needs into clear process requirements and Business Cases and maintain the process landscape in SAP Signavio
- Ensure business readiness through process validation, testing, User Acceptance Testing and rollout coordination
- Monitor regulatory changes, identify process gaps and digitalisation opportunities and turn them into improvement initiatives
The Technology you’ll work with:
- SAP S/4HANA as our new group-wide ERP platform
- SAP GTS for customs, export control and trade compliance
- SAP Signavio for process modelling and documentation
What we are looking for:
- 7+ years of experience in Global Trade, customs, import/export or trade compliance – ideally combined with process ownership, business transformation or consulting
- Sound knowledge of customs regulations, export control and trade compliance requirements
- Strong end-to-end process understanding and experience translating regulatory and business requirements into structured process and system requirements
- Experience with ERP transformation programmes; SAP GTS highly beneficial, SAP S/4HANA and SAP Signavio an advantage
- Experience in complex, international organisations – ideally in chemical distribution or another regulated industry
- Confidence in facilitating workshops and aligning stakeholders from operational teams to management level
- Experience working with agile teams, Product Owners, consultants and developers
analytical and pragmatic mindset with the drive to challenge established processes - Fluent English (C1), German is an advantage, and willingness to travel within Europe when required
