This is an exciting moment to join the OQEMA Group as we embark on a journey of Digital Transformation. As a Network Security Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in our expanding IT-Team. Your responsibilities as a part of our Admin-Group include the implementation, management and control of our modern and complex IT infrastructure. You will work on facing the challenges for the IT on Group level and be part of the successful implementation of our development strategy. Your mission is to make a significant impact with your skills while collaborating with highly knowledgeable and passionate individuals across Europe.

Network Security Engineer (m/f/d)

Full-time | Permanent | Mönchengladbach | Home Office possible 

 

What you´ll do

  • Independent management of our PaloAlto Prisma Access instance
  • Administration of our firewalls and Network Access Control
  • Planing and implementation of new systems in our IT infrastructure
  • Technical support of our various departments
  • System- and network management
  • Independently solving of technical problems

What you´ve got

  • Degree in computer science, completed vocational training as an IT specialist, IT clerk with relevant professional experience or comparable qualification.
  • Experience in similar positions in an international environment
  • Good knowledge of SASE-platforms, especially PaloAlto Prisma Access
  • Knowledge in Firewalls, TCP/IP, IPS/IDS and NAC
  • Good knowledge in Network- and firewall-products (PaloAlto, Fortinet and HP/Aruba) desirable
  • Strong hands-on mentality
  • Structured, conceptual and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Independent way of working, communication skills
